π Posting a Job
Is it free to post a job?
Yes β posting a job on Jobby is completely free. There are no fees to post, no subscriptions, and no commissions on hires.
How long does my job post stay up?
Job posts automatically expire after 21 days. You can delete your post at any time before that from the "My Posts" section, or re-post once it expires.
How many jobs can I post?
You can post up to 3 jobs per 48-hour window. This limit is enforced both in your browser and by your IP address to keep the board fair and spam-free.
I didn't receive my verification code β what do I do?
When you submit a post using email contact, a 6-digit code is sent to your email address. If you don't see it within a minute, check your spam or junk folder. You can also click "Resend code" to generate a new one.
Can I edit my post after publishing?
Yes. Go to "My Posts" in the top navigation, enter the email you used when posting, and you'll be able to edit the title, pay, schedule, and description of any active post.
How do I delete a post?
Click "My Posts" in the nav bar, enter your posting email, and click the Delete button next to the post you want to remove. Deletion is permanent and immediate.
I'm posting on behalf of a company β what extra options do I have?
When you select "Company" as your poster type, you'll unlock two additional fields: (1) a careers page URL where candidates can learn more about your company, and (2) an option to require candidates to submit a resume when they contact you.

How do I apply for a job?
Click "βοΈ Contact poster" on any job listing. Fill in your name, email, and a message introducing yourself. Your message is forwarded privately β your real email stays hidden until you and the poster choose to share more.
How do I find jobs in my area?
Use the city and state filters at the top of the job listings. You can also filter by category (Moving, Cleaning, Construction, etc.) using the category chips, or search by keyword using the search bar.
A job says it requires a resume β how do I send one?
When a company post requires a resume, you'll see a note in the contact form. You can paste your resume text or include a link to your LinkedIn or resume file in your message to the poster.
Do I need an account to browse or apply?
No account is ever required. You can browse all jobs, contact posters, and post jobs without creating a username or password.

How do I know if a job is legitimate?
Legitimate jobs on Jobby will never ask you to pay a fee to apply or get started, request your Social Security number upfront, ask you to send gift cards or wire money, or offer pay that seems unrealistically high. If something feels off, trust your instincts and report the post.
Any tips for staying safe when meeting a job poster?
Always meet in a public place for your first interaction. Tell someone where you're going. Never share bank details, SSN, or passwords with an employer. Verify the job is as described before committing. If anything seems off, walk away and report the post.
Is my contact info kept private?
When you choose email contact, your real email address is never shown publicly. Jobby routes messages through a private relay. If you choose phone contact, your phone number will be visible to job seekers who click "Contact poster" β only choose this if you're comfortable sharing it.

My post isn't showing up β what happened?
Posts go live immediately after email verification. If your post doesn't appear, try refreshing the page. If it's still missing, it may have been flagged by our moderation filters or removed by a report. Check that your post complies with our community guidelines.
I switched browsers and lost access to my posts.
Use the "My Posts" feature in the nav bar. Enter the email address you used when posting and you'll see all your active listings, regardless of which device or browser you're using.
My post was blocked β why?
Jobby automatically screens posts for prohibited content including illegal services, spam keywords, all-caps titles, external links, and fee-based job schemes. If your post was blocked, review the error message shown and adjust the content accordingly. If you believe it was blocked in error, contact us below.
Is Jobby available everywhere in the US?
Yes β Jobby accepts job posts from all 50 US states and Washington DC. While we're proudly based in Waxahachie, Texas, anyone across the country can post or find work here.
