When you post a job, we collect your email address (for verification), phone number or contact preference, and the content of your job posting. When you contact a poster, your name and message are transmitted. We do not collect payment information β Jobby is free to use.
Your email is used solely to verify your posting and send you a copy of your job listing. Your contact information is displayed or proxied based on the privacy setting you choose at the time of posting. We do not use your data for advertising or share it with third parties for marketing purposes.
Job postings are stored in our secure database and automatically expire after 21 days. Email addresses used for verification are stored only for the duration of the posting. We use Supabase for database hosting, which is hosted on secure U.S.-based infrastructure.
If you choose private (email) contact, your real email address is never shown publicly β messages are routed through our proxy. If you choose phone/text contact, your phone number will be visible to job seekers. Only share what you're comfortable making public.
Jobby does not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics. We use Cloudflare for hosting and security, which may log basic request data (IP address, browser type) for security and performance purposes per Cloudflare's privacy policy.
You have the right to request deletion of any data associated with your posting at any time. You may also request a copy of the data we hold associated with your email address.
Send an email to the address below with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and include the email address associated with your posting. We will delete your data within 5 business days and confirm by reply.
